Our Pillars
The Pillars of Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity, Inc. are Fellowship, Evangelism, and Discipleship.
Fellowship
In taking on the nature of Christ, we will serve the community. While Christ was alive,
He was moved with compassion to heal the sick and, through His death, our infirmities
and sins are covered and we are healed. He died in order to restore fellowship with God.
Therefore, in serving Christ, we become servants of all mankind.
"That which we have seen and heard, declare we unto you. That ye also may
have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the father, and his Son Jesus
Christ." 1 John 1:3
Evangelism
We must spread the words and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In
keeping with this concept, we serve as a witnessing force on college campuses and in our communities by our lives and actions.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of
the world. Amen." Matthew 28:19-20
Discipleship
Through discipleship we hope to strengthen, teach, and help one another. By learning
from each other, we seek to grow in the wisdom and understanding of Christ.
"Which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man, perfect in Christ Jesus." Colossians 1:27-28
"Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be
subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and
giveth grace to the humble." 1 Peter 5:5
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love
one another. By thus all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one
another.”John 13:34-35
