As today’s society is constantly evolving and pressing towards the future, a lot of people of this generation are trying to understand their identity and how they play a part the grand scheme of life. In particular, men in this day are having a challenging time confronting who they really are, dealing with their past situations and growing into who God has designed them to be. Frequently facing what life has to offer, males need a space where we can honestly discuss our insecurities, feel reaffirmed as men, and are encouraged to make better life choices. Gamma Phi Delta is stepping up to tear the walls of that divide us as men and is infusing this generation of men with an authentic approach to manhood. The Identity Infusion initiative is platform for which our fraternity encourages men to truly discover who they are as men from a biblical perspective. One of the ways the fraternity has begun give men an opportunity to maximize their manhood is through the Identity Infusion Public Blog. This blog is designed to open up candid dialogue about issues which men do not typically discuss openly. Some of the topics will focus on but are not limited to issues such as growing up in a single parent home, low self-esteem, pornography, homosexuality, and male leadership. By openly discussing these topics, our hope as a fraternity is that we will begin to heal the men of our nation and break barriers that hold men back from being who God has called them to be. Other activities will include men’s conferences, retreats and fellowships. For more information about the Identity Infusion contact us at

Perry H. Kay Jr. Memorial Scholarship
The Perry H. Kay, Jr., Memorial Scholarship is an annual, one-time
scholarship designed to help graduating High School seniors make the
transition from college to high school easier. Brother Kay was a
graduate of Prairie View A&M University (B.B.A., May 2002) where he
joined Gamma Phi Delta in the Fall of 1999. His professional
credentials included certifications in Real Estate Finance and
Processing which also included licensing as a loan officer. However,
his ultimate calling was as a minister. He encouraged family members,
young Christians and friends to have faith in the Lord. While pursuing
other graduate and theological studies, he was stricken with cancer,
which took his body but not his Christian spirit. This scholarship
honors the memory of this humble servant for the Lord. To view the
requirements, deadlines, application, and a more complete bio of

Prostate Cancer Awareness
Gamma Phi Delta proudly supports and endorses the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF). Gamma Phi Delta Chapters yearly put on programs, raise funds and awareness about prostate cancer. Did you know that men are 1-1/2 times more likely than woman die from cancer? Men have a higher probability of developing cancer and a smaller life expectancy once they've been diagnosed. 1 out of 6 men will be diagnosed with the prostate cancer and the death rate is even higher for African-American men than for any other racial or ethnic group. Because of this phenomenon Gamma Phi Delta has teamed up with the Prostate Cancer Foundation to increase awareness and help raise funds for research to fight this deadly disease....
The Prostate Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar until the end of the 2007 by the Safeway Foundation $1 Million Matching Grant Challenge!
