Brother Billy Joe Jackson, Jr. (B.J.) was born on August 16, 1972 to Billy Joe and Stephanie Jackson. He grew up in the town of Mission, TX and graduated from Mission High School in 1990. He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Austin College in 1994 and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University in 1997. He accepted Jesus as his savior in the spring of 1992. He was duly inducted as a member of the fraternity in 1995 at Prairie View A&M University's Beta Exodus chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity, Inc. He is a member of New Hope Community Church in Houston, TX. He currently works as an Applications Engineer with Texas Instruments where he has been employed for seven years. He resides in Houston, TX with his wife Mia who is a member of Alpha Lambda Omega Christian Sorority, Inc and son William Joseph.
B.J. was appointed as the third national president of Gamma Phi Delta Christian Fraternity, Inc. in November of 2002 by his predecessor, La.Bryant K. Benjamin. He was officially inaugurated at the Fifteenth National Conference during the annual banquet on March 28, 2003, in Austin, Texas. Prior to being named to the position of National President, Bro. Jackson served as the National Vice-President of Gamma Phi Delta.
